This Vet gets excellent care from the VA. Most all of
the Vets I talk to love their VA care. That's not a random observation,
I actually do volunteer work with a community based Vet center so I hear both sides.

To say that "The care received by veterans is terrible."
is very misleading. Some Vets may not get what they need
as fast as they think they need it or deserve it but the majority does.

Those who are happy with their care don't often post how good the service is.
It's only the unhappy few who bitch and moan in public and that's what you
see in the right wing media. I bet that many of those who complain the
loudest are "Bad" patients to begin with. They miss appointments and don't call (and some other Vet misses a chance to be seen). They don't take their meds or follow instructions. Sometimes
their condition can't be cured and they're just frustrated out-loud. Sometimes life sucks.

All large organizations have problems due their size and complexity.
The VA is no exception but they do a damned good job compared to
most for-profit hospitals.

You're not helping one bit by repeating the r/w propaganda.
