Someone actually suggested that the whole Trump candidacy was drummed up by the Clintons in order to assure a Hillary victory, making him the scary boogyman people would fear to vote for.

Then that person finished with "stranger things have happened in American politics".

I just started this topic to learn about those stranger things.

Anyone have some?

For me, that's the most absurd notion, though given the cartoonish nature of this election season, the thought doesn't completely dismiss itself in my mind.

So, have you seen or learned about stranger things than that?
