(67,112 posts)29. I've never been a gun fan, but I really understand why some people want them for protection for
all sorts of reasons. There are a lot of sick people in this country roaming around. And, with all of the negativity in the world, they take this as signs that it's OK to beat on others for whatever sick thought/justification comes into their twist F'ed up minds. Conservative estimates are about 25% of the US needs mental health counseling for one reason or another. I do not view the US as a well country. In fact, I really wonder where the US is headed.
