if Trump sees Bernie as a threat.

Trump did the same thing with Cruz and Carson and Rubio that he's doing with Bernie. Trump is making nice comments about Bernie now just as he did about Cruz and Carson and Rubio when his biggest threats were Bush and Christie, but once Bush and Christie were out of the picture, it was Lying Cruz and so forth.

Bernie has his devoted followers but because the majority of voters and the media don't think Bernie can win the delegates needed to be president, Bernie is just being used by Trump as a way to criticize Hillary. If Bernie had been a real threat to Trump, Trump would be calling Bernie that thief who wants to take your money. And if the media thought Bernie could mathematically get the delegates he needs to be the nominee they would be much more critical in their analysis. As it is, they really aren't paying that much attention to Bernie, good or bad.
