Trump's floor is his floor regardless of what he says or does or what the opposition says. That's pretty clear by now.
"Too many nominal DUers have no interest whatsoever in demonstrating that HRC has a top-notch team who will hand Trump his ass."
I think many of them are in denial that that same top-notch team is helping her win the primary against their guy. "I refuse to believe this is happening" translates into "I don't see how she can beat Trump".
