24. I want this to true, but the data and methodology looks very questionable.

The chart below compares the percentage of bookings on Hipmunk for Trump Hotels’ most popular locations in 2015 (before his campaign received much attention) to the percentage of bookings in 2016 (as the campaign receives ample media attention).

Well Trump was not running for President in 2015 Q1 so no shit his campaign wasn't getting much attention, it didn't exist. That mistake alone really makes me question if the author knows what he or she is talking about. Moreover there seems to be a selective exclusion of the data between 2015 Q1 and 2016 Q1. Why was data from 2015 Q2,Q3 and Q4 excluded? My guess it that it did not show a negative trend that the author claims is there.

Another point I don't understand is why use percentage of bookings instead of number of booking. The actual number of bookings could be exactly the same between 2015 Q1 and 2016 Q1. Hell it could have actually increased! A decrees in percent of bookings could just mean more people are using Hipmunk to book other hotels at a greater rate than Trump Hotels. Keep in mind all this data is from people who use Hipmunk to book their hotel, not the actual numbers.

I'm no fan of Trump, fuck that guy. But this is just a fluff piece to get more people using Hipmunk. The actual analysis is piss poor.
