(110,220 posts)like letting their children answer the phone, talk to checkers at the supermarket, or listen to adults having conversations. The OP swept up a lot of normal childhood socialization in her vehement list of complaints about "spoiled" children.
She also acted like "brats" are a major problem in the world, while I rarely run into them. I am much more concerned about children like this little girl:
