Currently, she can browbeat and embarrass banksters when they try to lie to her. We don't have anyone else in the Senate with her knowledge who can fill her shoes. That's my main reservation about this pick.

VP is a largely ceremonial role. But Warren would make a hell of a president should Hillary decide to step down for whatever reason. And having her on the ticket would bring a lot of Berners like me enthusiastically on board.

So it's a calculation, but one requiring more info to fully process: what the FBI decides to do, and when. It's possible Clinton could win without Warren, and be fine. If the FBI does decide to indict before the convention (unlikely), they should give the nom to Bernie; if afterwards, a Clinton/Warren ticket would definitely put Warren in the White House. If they decide not to indict, she can pick anyone and probably be okay.
