They hate LBGT persons.
Jews
Muslims
Other Christians who disagree with their interpretation of the Bible.
Dark skinned people, especially blacks and "Mexicans".

Can they live in a liberal society ?

Europe is lucky, they don't seem to have this variant of hatred as bad as we do. Well, not since we kicked Hitler's ass in WW II, anyway.

I'm sure most US Christians are normal but how can you tell the difference ? *

* well, one way might be the confederate flag in the window or the tailgate. But not all of them are violent about their hate.
