In the past 16 years, 155 people have died in mass killings in France(130 in a single terrorist attack).
In the past 16 years, 440 people have died in mass killings in the US.

When it comes to "canned responses", it sounds like you've already got your tweet from the NRA with the company line. I wish I were surprised but it's as expected.
