Chris Christie will be the orange one's running mate. [View all]
That's my latest prediction, based on two factors:
1) Trump is a goddamn disaster, regardless if he actually wins (
) or not. No Republican with any national ambitions or any sort of potential political future is going to want to attach their names to a racist, sexist, bigoted, ignorant, loudmouthed, egotistical, insane man-child.
2) His running mate would have to be somebody with absolutely no pride left who would actually be willing to play second banana to the biggest douchebag to be nominated by a major political party to the presidency in modern times.
Christie's career is over. His approval ratings in New Jersey are in the toilet. He has nothing left to lose. And he's already demonstrated that he's perfectly willing to let MC Small-Hands make a fool out of him in public.
I think he'll be the one.
