She's a liberal and has always been one.
"Clinton rates as a hard core liberal per the OnTheIssues.org scale. She is as liberal as Elizabeth Warren and barely more moderate than Bernie Sanders. And while Obama is also a hard core liberal, Clinton again was rated as more liberal than Obama."
More liberal than Obama as liberal Warren and a hair away from being as liberal as Bernie.
The idea that she's a moderate is going to work for her in the general election though, and it's also going to help her get a lot more accomplished as President than if she were viewed as what she is, a hardcore liberal.
