I always have, and always will believe that education, along with taking the 'natural curiosity' and 'glamour', 'iconoclastic appeal', 'attraction', or whatever you want to call it, away from the gun by replacing it with the TRUTH, will go a LOT FARTHER with kids than just telling them "don't ever touch a gun", because without educating them, all you're doing is piquing their interest without telling them the dangers.... and we ALL know that a kid is going to do just the opposite of what you tell them 9 out of 10 times anyways. That's a given, but at least your kids, and mine, were/are also educated about the dangers if they DO decide to touch one anyways.
I truly appreciate your input, and civility, on this issue Person 2713.... I hope you have a wonderful day!
