...of the greater Chicago area. I have been a pediatric nurse practitioner for 40 years, so I'm pretty sure I have influenced thousands of families in that time. I've been doing the weapons chat for at least 20 of those 40 yrs.

I like your idea. I am the only NP in a 10 member pediatric group. As such, I am an employee, not a partner, and would have to clear something like that with the 8 docs who are partners, and I'm sure you know how slow a process it can be to get more than 2 people to agree to something.

A pediatrician in a different suburb is one of the ones who brought suit against the town of Highland Park IL for their ban of assault weapons. He is a father of five and very unhappy that he couldn't keep such a weapon in his home.
