(12,233 posts)wasn't so much about blurting out "Jesus Christ" when you hit your thumb with a hammer instead of it hitting the nail.... It was about calling one's self a "Godly person, and doing and living one's life the opposite of a faithful servant... Smacking one's wife would be the actual sin in God's eyes, not the expletive!!!
Reason why, is how does one go around calling themselves a servant of God, faithful or what not, if they act in the opposite manner in which the word of God speaks to.... AND if one is a "Christian" the second 1/2 of the bible is the more important one because it is Jesus who commands one another to love each other as brother's and sister's; its Jesus who says the meek shall inherit the world, it is Jesus who says the palaces in heaven are greater for those faithful spirit, and it is those who have the most abundance who are supposed to give the most....or have essential damnation later on in life.
Anyway, this man is not a "Christian" by any sense of the meaning at all.
