If he almost exactly fit the description of the shooter that police were looking for. I honestly (and strongly) believe this hypothetical white person would have been in the exact same situation.

If you fit the description of someone who's shot 11 police officers in a short period of time, and the only guy open carrying a rifle at the event, you're likely going to be questioned.

If you were the police, how would you have handled the situation differently? Please expand on how they went wrong.
