In reply to the discussion: Tulsi Gabbard for DNC Chair NOW (edit) [View all]etherealtruth
(22,165 posts)I am not a fan of DWS .... attacking her record (justifiably) doesn't promote Gabbard in the least. It simply points to DWS poor job.
Please point to Gabbard's record indicating she would be a good leader, fund raiser and unifying party member? I can't find anything that would indicate this. she is very personable and charismatic which is a pohttps://www.votetulsi.com/node/846sitive; however, she votes far too often with and in support of republicans She sided with the republicans on "Obama care" https://www.votetulsi.com/node/846 .... sided with republicans on refugees http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/11/19/1452134/-These-47-Democrats-Just-Voted-to-Send-Syrian-Refugees-Back-to-their-Imminent-Death
I could cite many, many more. I don't want Gabbard anywhere near the Democratic Party platform.

How did she get to be vice chair of the DNC (a mantra you seem to parrot over and over again....?) .... the same way DWS became chair????? This is an irrelevant point. Indicating the absence of an argument for her qualifications.
If you have any information that would speak to Gabbard's qualities and qualifications please present them (ie indications that she is a strong democrat, fund raising successes for the party, strong leadership) please provide (attacking others does not present a case for her, tired mantras do not provide a case for her .... please provide solid information)
I would like to see Jennifer Granholm chairing the party .... in another discussion I can provide with ease her fundraising, organizational and experiential qualifications.
