7 proven and 14 likely corpses later they remembered that the death penalty exists for a reason and just levying it once then letting the guy go is not a wise move. There are hundreds like him just less splashy in more ways than one. Recidivism isn't just a long word beginning with R and people concerned about the loss of innocent life potential in the death penalty never seem to consider the far more concrete loss of innocent life involved in not carrying it out.
