The worst mistake the Framers of the Constitution made: a judge can be removed by members of a different branch, as can the president, but congress critters cannot. If we were to build a new constitution we should have a citizens review board - from each state one Democrat and one Republican, who have the power to get rid of congressmen by a two-thirds vote.
We also need direct election of presidents, and speaker of the house as a national office.
