Enough to give him more than what he had when he got into office which was the house and 60 votes in the senate.

Even with that he barely got his health care bill passed and it is not all that popular even with Dems.

If only he emphasized the economy from day 1 he could have shown what he does when he has all the tools. But the only thing people see that he did is the ACA.

I could be wrong but I don't think he is ambitious enough to capture the imagination of the populace enough to give him a filibuster proof senate. And unless he can get that he is only promising more of the same.
