I also believe his ravings will go off the deep end quickly and that this, combined with the loss of any possibility that he will attain political power, will cause most of his followers to drift away from him in disillusion and despair. He'll soon be relegated to the same dustbin of history currently housing Palin and the ghost of McCarthy. Oh, certainly, someone will rise to take his place, to lead those disaffected souls who look to autocrats like Trump to lead them to whatever promise land is popular at the time, but the spell broken, the possibility of action cut off and political power beyond his grasp, Trump will fade into the broken, aging caricature he will soon be seen to be.
