5. I have never discussed it with my husband.

He knows a few things, but I never got into the "nitty gritty". I have explained more on this site. I am well into the survivor stage and rarely have any type of trauma associated with the event.

While I understand your suggestion, people need to take care in opening up, because some people just aren't equipped o handle such information and may not be as "supportive" as a survivor might need. It sucks to at, but sometimes, one needs to be understanding of the other end too (meaning those who haven't been victimized).

I am male (some people still think I am a woman. ).
