(348 posts)Ideally, she should provide the public with at least a hint of her reasons for being so secretive/protective. This foggy area is at bottom, I believe, why she fosters suspicion. Because, really, it's not about him any longer. There's nothing he can do/say that he hasn't already done/said. Once elected, this shroud of suspicion will interfere with every move from her administration, which, with around 40% of, let's face it, extreme-right voters is almost the guarantee for a barely governable country. The guarantee of very low rudder-authority. Even if there are some gains down-ballot. As long as this aspect is not at least partially explained, her resilience will continue to be at the same time her best asset and her weakness. Some spin-pundit once said that debates were a sort of MRI of the "soul"...
