He has tried already. The reason he now suggests a drug test is that he just cannot get a rise out of her. He is confusing years of training with sedation. Hillary and her team watched the mistakes of the 16 munchkins he ran against in the primary. Trump would cut one out of the herd and lob insults until they fought back. He could then out bully and out bluster them.

Hillary sits back, smiles, and does a shimmy. Then she just answers to the substance and ignores the rest. She does not stand toe to toe and attempt to out bluster him. She steps to the side and moves on. In the process she makes him look all the more like a blithering idiot barking at the moon. If you have ever seen a person having a heated argument over a cell phone in the parking lot, where you can only hear half of the discussion, what you see makes no sense just like that. The person shouting into the cell phone looks to be completely nuts. Perhaps they are, but with only half the conversation, you cannot be truly sure.

She drives him to distraction because she engages the moderators and the audience, not him.

In the R debates he was "that which could not be ignored" and he worked it. In these debates he has been ignored for the most part and he is not dealing with it well. In general when they have engaged, he has been on defense, and the topics were of Hillary's choosing. Even then, she makes the point stick quickly and moves on.

Dispel any notion that you might entertain along the lines of this being accidental. It is a plan, it depends on years of training, and it arises from watching the films of his past games.
