but, first, they got bought out by a media conglomerate, and then moved from their old downtown location to a new "castle on a hill" overlooking the town. Then, all of their subscription drives are managed by out-of-state call centers, with high-pressure cold-calls and so forth. Its all bad form. I'm thinking of a subscription to the New York Times, but then I also have to be realistic about the time I have to spend reading the papers...one of these days, maybe.
