120. THANK YOU! That is what I've been trying to say, that SOME of that stuff is really women-hating,

And I think that particular porn (while I wouldn't go so far as to ban it) might be having a bad effect on society.

I do think that porn drives trends in sex. I think that the reason anal sex is done so prevalently now as opposed to, say, in the 50's and 60's, has to do with trends in porn.

What bothers me is the idea that if the "sick shit" becomes popular too just like anal has, that women will be expected to submit to that, too....

Because I can tell you there are a whole lot of women out there that I've listened to on message boards, who give in to the pressure to do anal, who don't actually like it, and find it uncomfortable or even painful.

Now, we could chalk that up to a failure on the part of women, sure. Many of us are too eager to please, too eager to give up ourselves and our happiness for the sake of getting a man's approval. I know I was certainly that way in my youth. And I guess we only have ourselves to blame if others take advantage of our lack of boundaries.

But some of that "sick shit" type porn - how would you feel if your daughter were pressured into doing that stuff for her boyfriend...not because she wanted to, but because she feared she would lose him to another girl if she didn't?

I guess one of the problems is that so many young women are raised in this society, to give far too much of themselves away, to devalue themselves. The only person who matters, is the male, in that world view.

I'm just thinking down the road...you know, boyfriends pressuring their girlfriends to let them have intercourse with their urethra....can't imagine how that won't cause permanent physical harm.

I'm not asking for this stuff to be banned. I'm asking for you guys to just THINK about what is out there, is that how you would like your mother, your daughter, your sister, to be treated?

If it isn't, using social pressure here, could you please consider consuming somewhat less misogynistic porn?
