21. That's just jargon and terminology

Europeans don't see themselves as some fluid social classification defined by academics trapped in academia. No amount of articles written by Pew will change their minds.

Merkel can bow to the popular will or be removed and replaced by AfD, which will be quite extreme. Europe's centre-left/right needs to decide whether it wants to exist going forward, or turn their countries over to the far right. Austria came within 3% of electing a president from a party formed by former Nazis.

In Europe, the immigration flood will end one way or another. The only question is who will end it first, and whether the solution will be humane by mainstream parties or inhumane by AfD (Frauke Petry, their leader, has joked about shooting refugees on sight).
