That Shitler's mocking of the Gold Star family from the Democratic convention had almost turned Russia away from him. Even they thought he couldn't recover from such a horrible confrontation. There was an article that discussed this; was probably Newsweek or Washington Post.

The article included an excellent timeline of events beginning last spring during primaries, and leading right up through the conventions and to the general election. I think maybe I will need to see if I can find that.
