(2,866 posts)are an attempt to not provoke the rethug backlash from Cheeto's voters, who will be crying "Foul!" if he's denied the 'residency.
But, I agree that there needs to be more outrage from the American people about this. I would think, given all those Billionaire Boys' Club cabinet appointees and a Oil Magnate maybe being confirmed as SoS, that there would be more alarm being voiced by the electorate. Maybe many are, but if they are, they're certainly being quiet about it. That could be because they're embarrassed to have been played so thoroughly and know that what's in store is going to be as bad for them as it for the "others" they wanted to deport or "put in their place". I've never met a rethug - rich or poor - who EVER wanted anybody rethug or Dem to "touch" their SocSec, Medicare and personal healthcare insurance, now everything is on the chopping block, and those gold-plated healthcare plans they're on might be one step away from throwing them off because of one illness or one pre-existing condition that are about to be repealed out of existence, and with that repeal, the legal prohibition against insurers from doing that to protect them.
So far, I'm not seeing the outrage that their 'resident, whether legit or not (and I say this confirms he's not and never was or even could be) was put in that position by Vlad Putin and that Cheeto is a tRumpchurian operative with Washington D.C. becoming Kremlin on the Potomac.
