(475 posts)(D) voters should be outraged, but the party of reality will resign themselves to "welp, beggers can't be choosers".
Kasich won't do anything because he'll be congress' lapdog (toting the 1% approval rating he'll have entering office). Ryan and McConnell will dismantle everything and threaten impeachment if he steps out of line.
We need to convince Republican electors to vote for Clinton, but elect Kaine. Use some reverse psychology to imply "well, Clinton's guilty, and republican congress/senate will keep her in check anyways (main fear of a lot of these people was a dem controlled senate/congress giving "crooked Hillary" free reign)". Tell them "she'll probably be impeached and we'll get Tim Kaine" and they should be reasonably discontent but not discontent enough to avoid casting their vote for HRC.
