terms, often using "damning with faint praise," ignoring real progress he made. Their goals were to create fear, uncertainty and doubt, about our President and, by extension, the Democratic Party. I imagine they are gloating now, but I won't see it. Now that they are no longer on DU, at least with their well-known screen names, I can avoid them. Another was Manny Goldstein, whoever he might be in real life. A relatively clever writer, he built a strong network of followers here and helped to suppress more rational, serious DUers.

Now, he's off running an splinter website, JPR, where one hopes he stays.

None of those people are actually progressives, but are more or less skilled at pretending to be.
