We were fighting off a photo voter ID amendment that passed. The claim was that they are protecting the right to vote and people bought it despite the best efforts of the LWV and other groups.

The best voter registration drives and education about government comes from the League of Women Voters because they are education and issue oriented. All of our local democratic legislators are members.
