I guess because he's working for MSNBC he's peeing his pants in fear that somebody might accuse him of having a liberal bias. Hence the reason why CHRIS F-ING WALLACE usually asks Republicans tougher questions than Todd.

On the bright side, at least THIS didn't happen (as it usually does):

Tapper: "Trump asks why Democrats didn't raise question of Russian hacking before Hillary lost. Actually THEY DID."

Todd: "Trump asks why Democrats didn't raise question of Russian hacking before Hillary lost. DEMOCRATS CLAIM THEY DID."
