5. Under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, that sign might be illegal...

the store, I'm assuming, doesn't maintain a member's only list, and hence is a business of public accommodation.

Now, to actually get them to take down the sign, contact the ACLU, or CAIR, and have some lawyers threaten to sue them for breach of said Civil Rights act.

The only ambiguity is whether the store owner/operator follows through with the sign and actually refuses to do business with people he suspects are Muslim, that is highly illegal and actionable.
