Kennedy Center Honors: Will honorees next year refuse to sit in presidential box with Trump? [View all]

The Kennedy Center Honors, which include a White House reception and performances at the Kennedy Center viewed by honorees sitting with the President, have been around since 1978. While there have been a few cancellations/refusals to attend, to the best of my knowledge, no honoree has ever refused to attend because they didn't want to attend a White House reception or sit with the current president, even when it's probably been the case that the honoree was not a fan of the president in office at that time.

But Trump is a horse('s ass) of a different color. Given the refusal of so many talents to participate in his inauguration, what will happen next year when the honorees are selected. Will the committee that selects honorees try to pick folks they think would appear with Trump? Will there be refusals to accept the award or acceptances followed by refusals to attend the reception?
