16. I like your scenario.

I had not thought of paralysis/frustration. I can see your scenario happening.

What we have now seems to be a train wreck. Watch the debt grow. You DO NOT cut revenue until you have costs under control.

Likewise, the corporations are not people. But, they need to pay up for the opportunity of making money in this country. OR, pay everyone in their employ a living wage. Just think what that would accomplish.

What bothers me is any program cuts affect all of these United States. Social Security, Medicare, etc. payments are made in urban and rural areas. What happens when you cut those programs, you cut economic activity in all these United States. Lets think of those moms and pops in the rural areas of Nebraska, Montana, North and South Dakota, Wyoming.
