I have never understood why more women don't do it. Years ago--when I was in my 20's--it was very common for women
to take self defense classes and we all learned to be prepared to defend ourselves.

Now, though, I worry about how many of these predatory males are also carrying guns--to defend their phallic rights--and whether
they would escalate against a woman who would dare to defend herself.
