11. I agree. They need "the people's station" where real news, not opinion disguised as news, is

reported and our elected officials are held to account. It's high time some of the billionaires on our side start investing in something like that. Thing is, a few too many loud voices on the left will criticize the programming like crazy, just as they had CurrentTV, and they dissuaded too many who eventually turned away, making it unprofitable.

But profit shouldn't be the goal. Educating the American electorate, should.

We have powerful voices on our side: Joy-Ann Reid, Lawrence O'Donnell, Keith Olbermann, Martin Bashir, etc. If ever the time was ripe for a cable channel that will hold corrupt Republicans to account, it's now. If people like George Soros, Buffet, Bloomberg, and Mark Cuban, donate, and Spielberg and Lucas collaborate as creative executive directors, for example, we can have a counter to Faux News and the progressively Republican-leaning MSNBC.

It can be done.
