6. It's been awhile since I've crossed the border

But I remember seeing signs that it's illegal to have cell phones turned on in the CBP line.

Also, if you drive through with an active dashcam, they order you to turn it off.

This was a couple years ago, but I can't imagine that they have eased up now.
