8. I vote bad knees as well

Usually going down stairs is worse than going up. If you have any knee weakness, they can sometimes buckle. Depends on the height of length of the steps, some are harder than others.

However, trying to remember, doesn't he have to climb down stairs to get out of his plane? Maybe they are specially built.
