My biggest fear with Trump is that he will bumble his way into policy that will buttress him, one area is with H1B visas, if Trump greatly reduce or eliminate them and that results in 40 year old plus engineers and technical people getting jobs that they are now being looked over for, that is an outcome that could greatly override Trump's Muslim hate and other hate. Trump gained his margin of victory because older, laid off factory workers believed that he would once again make them relevant - to ignore that is insanity on our parts. President Obama actually brought back manufacturing, but that manufacturing was highly automated and required few people. Classic capitalism is dead, there simply are not enough jobs for people, especially with smart machines continuing to eliminate workers - what is needed is a new look at capitalism that involves a guaranteed minimum income for everyone - the problem is society is not at the point where such an idea takes hold, so we are left with figuring out how to fight Trump's cons.
