(24,406 posts)I'm VERY sick of it too! Like, why the hell do we need to *understand* them anyway? Do we owe them sympathy or something because they voted for Trump and now (maybe) regret it? They're adults whom had the same access to all of the same information as the rest of us in the country whom didn't vote for Trump. Democrats didn't throw them or push them into the arms of a madman. They wanted to believe the s**t that Trump was peddling and were able and willing to dismiss all of the signs that Trump was seriously morally and ethically flawed and dangerously unqualified to be President. If they now feel bad about themselves for voting for Trump or can't understand why the majority of the people whom voted for Clinton are upset with them for their vote for an such a person, then maybe they could spend a little time doing a little introspection and/or try to understand OUR concerns and/or join us in our opposition to his policies, nominees, etc. because a whole lot of them are going to suffer equally for their vote for Trumpublicans in the last election.
