(17,757 posts)There are more of us and Hillary won by more than 3 million votes. Maybe, just maybe, this will be what it takes to get people off their asses and to the polls to vote. I have a brother who is 63 and has always thought of himself as politically aware - a union man, a liberal, and not once in his entire life has he bothered to vote! His favorite line is "it doesn't make a bit of difference in my life on a daily basis who's in office". How do you argue with that level of ignorance? He always sides with the Democrats but won't vote.
Let's not waste our time and energies on the stupids. I'm sorry. I only know about four people who will acknowledge that they voted for the imbecile and you just can't argue facts with them. It's all emotion.
