There is a vast gulf between Obama and Romney. But would I still feel that way if it might cost me literally millions of dollars to vote for Obama?

Well, I would never be the kind of person to admit to myself that I would switch my allegiance for such a selfish reason. But I've been critical of Obama, haven't I? And Romney supported liberal positions in the past, didn't he? Hmmmmmmmm.....

That is the thought process going through such a persons head.

The really sad part, is that the same thought process manages to sway thousands of voters making say, $300,000 a year, who think they're part of the 1% but really wouldn't be allowed to shine the 1%'s shoes.
