Just the most over-the-top, gauche, gilded grotesque excessive ostentatious displays of wealth "Look at how super duper rich and great I am, all this gold and crystals and shiny uncomfortably mismatched ornate fancy crap crammed in here" - Like a cartoonish Dictator. It's just surreal.

It reminds me of an Evil Chaebol family's home in a high budget Korean drama. (The more nutbaggy and crazy the display, the more EVIL and BAAAD they must be lol) Complete the look with some intense KDrama background music... all that's left is for a protagonist who was fucked over by the Evil Family in his childhood to climb to power and topple the Bad Guys! LOL (I wish)
