In reply to the discussion: Trump's exit plan - will it be suicide or resignation? [View all]vlyons
(10,252 posts)from his perspective is to resign for "health reasons." Things are't going to get better for him, because he is his own worst enemy. He can't stop shooting his big mouth off with inappropriate lying bullshit, because that's a lifetime habit that he cannot break. He is surrounded by grifters and sycophants, who tell him what he wants to hear. But eventually, resigning will be as easy as pulling the plug on a failed casino and putting it into bankruptcy.
If he has to lie and pretend that he had a heart attack or some other health problem, so be it. I don't think this will happen soon. He will hang on as long as possible. It won't be suicide, because he's coward, and can't let go of all his money and property so easily.
I don't think he will there for 4 years. Since he can't change, and he will keep doing and saying stupidities, his poll numbers will go lower and lower and lower. The American people, yes even many who voted for him, will be glad to see him go. We will be glad because we know how dangerous he is. His base will be glad because they backed such an unpopular loser.
