10. I can understand that. He's falling for Romney's line...

"Obama's a nice guy, but he just can't handle the economy, apparently. I'm a successful businessman who has made large companies profitable. I know how the economy works and how to create jobs."

It sounds sensible, so I can see people falling for that. The Dems are TERRIBLE at tooting their own horn, so there's no one countering that message right now. Hopefully, that time will come.

We always knew it'd be about the economy, and that's what your friend is thinking of. And let's be frank: it's in your friend's economic interest to vote for Romney, so it'd be naiive to think that that doesn't play at least a small part in his thinking. Which is only natural, to think of one's own interest.
