8. I missed Paul Wellstone's career. I was just getting into American politics

when he and some family tragically died in that plane crash. I just remember how the GOP were squealing about his funeral and how it should not be a democratic political event - ***holes. Just goes to show you how threatened the GOP were by Wellstone. I never saw him being interviewed. It would have been a privilege.
