5. They sort of get pregnant

What I learned from a Betsy DeVos school:

Repuke women have a lot of little homunculi stored in their body (probably in their livers, but we aren't sure). When they want to have a baby, they first must ask permission from their husband-master. When they get permission, a homunculus drops down into their unmentionable and starts to grow. If, at any time during the pregnancy, the husband-master decides he doesn't want to deal with a baby, then the woman must retract the homunculus back into her liver.
