for US forces in the south. There is no question about that. South Korea is an ally and trading partner with the United States. North Korea is not building nuclear weapons for defense. It is building them to threaten South Korea.
North Korea's leader is demonstrably not mentally stable. The threat of his potential for using nuclear devices on his neighbor to the south is a real one.
That is why we do not leave them alone.
